Abordagens diagnósticas, terapêuticas e prognósticas no mastocitoma canino de grau II e III.

Resumo

O mastocitoma cutâneo é o segundo tumor mais comum em cães, representando de 16% a 21% das neoplasias malignas. A cirurgia é a abordagem preferencial, mas em diversos casos é necessária a intervenção com terapias diversas. Apesar de diversos estudos disponíveis, ainda não há consenso sobre qual tratamento é mais eficaz ou quais prognósticos devem ser levados em consideração para acompanhar o desenvolvimento da doença. Diante desse cenário, este trabalho visa descrever abordagens terapêuticas e prognósticos relevantes relacionados ao mastocitoma canino de grau II e III e sintetizar evidências sobre as melhores práticas terapêuticas e informações prognósticas no manejo desses tumores, contribuindo para um melhor entendimento e tratamento do mastocitoma cutâneo em cães.
